Community on NBC: the best show you're not watching

TV has lost its flavor. Most of the major television networks (FOX, ABC, CBS, etc) have become so focused on stable ratings and high revenue that their shows have boiled down to the same number of successful basic formulas with a few attached clichés just to spice things up: modern families coping with life in America, hero detectives trying to get to the truth and the girl, independent women dividing themselves between their careers and their social lives, any copy and paste version of American Idol. Even my own former favorite, The Office, the Holy Grail of quirky evening comedies has fallen from grace. However, Community might be the one thing that saves late night comedy because it scraps all the miserable clichés and plot points of our favorite (by ratings and followers) sitcoms like Arrested Development, 30 Rock, and The Office, replacing them with all the original storytelling and …

From the Editor’s Desk: Have You Seen This!?

Let me know what you guys think down below in the comments and watch the rest of the show here. Enjoy!

Modesty, for example was all shot, directed, and edited by the band’s guitarist, Erik Althoff, with additional effects contributed by two friends of the band. And it wasn’t their first foray into home-spun gold. They have produced several other compelling music videos, including Red Dress which was recorded using three iPhones. But Modesty reaches new …
