Is Marco Rubio the solution to the GOP’s Hispanic problem?

Marco Rubio, the Republican Senator from Florida, is on the short list of potential Vice President candidates for the eventual GOP presidential nominee. On the surface, Rubio seems like an excellent choice. For one, he is a popular senator from an extremely important swing state, Florida. He is also Hispanic, which is extremely important considering the anti-immigration stance the GOP has been taking. He is also planning to introduce his own version of the DREAM act in the Senate. The original DREAM act, which would have given the children of illegal immigrants the chance to achieve citizenship if they went to college or joined the military, was heavily opposed by Republicans and was struck down in the Senate.
